Vice President, Kellis Leon Guerrero represented Kindo Electric during KUAM's Recycle
Fest. He was handing out literature and educating the public on Wind Turbine technology
and how it can lower your utility bills. Also at the fest was Jim Thomas of
Pacific Wind &
Solar who flew over from Saipan to help us. Mr. Thomas is the Pacific Asia Distributor of
Skystream wind turbines.

Turning on the green light to go off the grid
A gloomy economic market combined with the steady rise of utility bills has sparked an
interest in the business community in becoming self-sufficient - that is, off the public power
grid. Kenneth Leon Guerrero, president of Kindo Electric, told the Journal about his
attempts to operate and function off the public power grid. Currently, Kindo Electric, his
electrical contracting business, is trying to demonstrate that with the right technology and
new thinking, an office, business or home can function completely off the grid. "I've been
